Reflection on Soul Care Exploration
During our first Soul Care gathering on June 26, we reflected on simple practices to keep us rooted. Building refuge in community allows us to stay grounded, especially during times of uncertainty and profound suffering.
Many found refuge through nature, spiritual rituals, and music. We reflected on the gifts and wisdom that have been passed down to us from our elders and ancestors. In acknowledging and naming our emotions, we became aware of how they show up in our bodies. We learned ways to center with breath and melody. We visualized growing roots into the Earth.
As we navigate the current waters, we encourage you to reflect on your internal refuge.
Take a moment. Breathe deeply into your belly. Touch your wholeness.
